Serenity in disguise of an Unknown Entity

It’s hard to know the sanity of agony,

This thought that thunderstuck threateningly.

Of Man incautious of him to two-timing man;

He is rational is capaciously inane.

It is when for an aurora of peace mortals clamoured,

Though in an obscure quiddity, the ambience is shrouded.

Paucity of Humanity and Rationality,

Repose has hid in a canopy of Insanity

Yet Hope transcends all our concern within reason,

Unfailingly the allurement of Revolution.

In our modern society, the decadence of human value is creating a clamoring call for the revival of human consciousness with no regards to the historical background of the existing place, that which might have also failed in experimentation of different types of government. For instance in the name of democracy, we are observing the destruction of entire races by the mighty proponents of this form without even considering about the consequences. While in other occasions, human rights are violated, human life is treated like any other commodity available in the market, like the policy of paying for the bereaved family by the legal administration after sponsoring the crime as if scrupulously designed for the denial of
dignity: to live life as a decent human being.

Humanity lies in living life and letting others live
in this advanced scientific society where we are divided by artificial political boundary. As a matter of fact there is no harm in destroying this rules imposed by the power-players.

Man is an intelligent being. But poverty, hunger, violence and ignorance have rendered him to lead a barbaric lifestyles, and the more unfortunate part is the fact that those living in the developed world especially the all-powerful US of A is the main culprit shackling up the lives of those innocent masses fucked up by the harsh realities of life. Is it rational, is this human intelligence or is it the sanity of humanity? When millions of people are dying due to famine and starvation, billions and billions of dollars are spent on bombs, guns and destruction.

It is when we desire for a society based on the free-will of each individual. Rousseau said that we are born free but everywhere we are in chains. Sometimes the weaknesses of man made it skeptical that we could ever live in an ideal Anarchy still it will reason any form of, or existing society because at least we know that man is by nature a selfish person and aggressive is his nature when his property is encroached upon or when someone tried to snatch his wife; and above all violence is the way of modern life.
Still how much liberty and justice can we achieve in that society when every affairs of human life will be led by the decision of our psyche instead of the hoodwinking, power-starved leaders? Is it really not possible that we could manage our own life without any government? Unfortunately it is the negative qualities of man which is driving the world nuts. When there is so much of maze in every aspects of development, we know that serenity has hid in a canopy of an unknown entity, though we are even ready to give up our life for the cause: PEACE, LIBERTY,JUSTICE AND FRATERNITY.

Even if hippies ideologies or anarchy cannot bring the solution, the search does not end here. There is nothing impossible in this world. One day we will see there is no difference between man and man. There will be no nation, only the differences which identify us an individual will be the division between us and our fellow-being. In a nutshell we will be One; we are tired of this niggling qualities of man. People of the land, oh wake up! …
.to be contd……

Liberty for a day,
Than to bondage for a lifetime.

Takin ma time off

Diary of a Slug - I
Part One: The First Heat in Delhi

It ain't easy to meditate on the meaning of life. It is sometimes absurd what we all do, after a hard day's work, only to satisfy ourselves that we are merely spending our life. What it really means, we are so ignorant about our very existence. In context of the search for meaning, education and career are so vital that I'm here, sitting in front of a PC, reflecting ahat is it all about, after admitiing myself to a PG course in Mass Communication from an institute situated a great distance from home. Why do amn have to acquire wealth and strivew for eminence in the name of achieving success in life? Or is that I'm niclined to materialism? Desires and ambitions have been conditioned to those of accomplishing extraordinary things in life while the dull reality remins me I'm the usual me. Still I lost myself in reverie dreaming away my life.I'm already 24 now. One of my friends who is two years older to me had three kids by my age. Well the number of kids one has ain't the parameter of a successful life. Here comes the question of settling down in life. It calls for decisions, committments and responsibilities besides the endeavour to excel in our chosen field, the station of our life.On one hand there are loads of things to be done while now and then I'm tempted to indulge in memories. Memories are dreams. I was fed up of drugs, violence and anarchy in my native place. I decided I need to get out of the fucking system, consoling myself if I can be good there will be one moron less in our world. Its been quite sometime I've been away from home. sometimes I long to have kangsoi and morok metpa. Sometimes I wish I'm with my friends. All of them inform me any news about rock concerts, gigs and above all the time that has gone by in my truancy, whenever we chat on the phone, sms or e-mail each other. And sometimes I feel like I should run all the way to home. Still I'm here on the journey. My station of life is in journalism.Ultimately I'm a journeyman. The roads are rough. Though I don't mind the potholes. In the intolerable heat of the summer or the chilly air of winter, life is all about the crusade against circumstances. Now and then the joy of discovering various paths in life is inexplicable. I've found a new home in realising life is a celebration.

Diary of a Slug - II
Part Two: Into the Outside
By:- KAPIL ARAMBAM

Freedom, morality, and the human dignity of the individual consists precisely in this; that he does good not because he is forced to do so, but because he freely conceives it,wants it, and loves it.

Nowadays the summer heat is intolerable. With the onset of hot spell the torridity reminds me the need for making used to hardships. For the first time it occurs to me that I've taken a reasonable decision regarding my future. There are dreams to be accomplished and memories to be cherished. That life ain't a roller-coaster ride. For a bed of roses we have to deal how to unprickle the bloody thorns. Easier said than done but I'm looking into the outside. I maybe sluggish but I ain't a moron.
Freedom is a relative term. Immanuel Kant said that a man is really free only when he does what universal abstract reason tells him what he ought to do. There is no personal faith in authority or various established social system. Yet no man is an island. We can afford liberty but not a reckless way of lifestyles which I had been carrying on. I've been trying to be free withoput being independent. For reasons varied as my own infirmity and relationships with family, friends and the society as a whole. As if life is inured to stuggle for our aims and goals to amass convictions.
In the actuality, there are worries and problems. Insecurities about the future, repentance of the past , anxiety and indolence in the rpesent... some people says we should live in the Now while others opine we learn from experience. Wise men envisages we should give our best in anyhting we do without caring about the result.
Idealism pertains to spiritual growth. But what our anticipations are and the real existence are so different entities. Usually we mean to go to some universities, get a job, and settle down in life ever chasing new dreams. But my laziness which incapicitate to take new initiaitves has bamboozled with thoughts storming out of nowhere. Expectation and uncertainty. So much have been sais about pessimism; a consistent frame of mind is highly commendable. Afterall I believe I'll be a man someday.
There is a greaty deal of injustice on our world. Personal convictions are mere knack for defining mortality according to each mentality. There is a clash between individuality and mankind. Reasonb does not always for explanation. No wonder there are so many places of worship in the vicinity. The universe originated out of unknown autochthonal circumstances and man created god. At the end of the day, it only matters how much can we sacrifice for our destination.
