overdue haiku

you might be alone,
you might as well recreate it
a crowd out of crowd

--

it’s all personal
the political comes with
positional price

--

i reached the city
living out of aeroplanes,
live in reclusion

--

alone in a home
outside it is more painful
little ironies

--

i was making up
then excommunicated
like purposefully

--

it can be millions
maybe more, the path to home;
yet a breath away

--

internet speaks loud
make a home, living, at ease
as if it’s alright

--

fellow travellers
what do you do in extremes?
flee or face the fire?

--

memories intact
physically too apart
wind up nostalgia

--

india remains
yet i’m far away in it;
the thought remains good

--

wait for sixty years
change the name and name the change
new colonists’ dreams

--

with fair and dark skins
in one home and habitat,
discriminate not

--

coconut quotient
it might not mean anything;
ten to one hundred

--

the north or the south
or it’s the east and the west
—blissfully nowhere
