the volley of the enemy in a block city

the volley of the enemy in a block city
lalboi i knew him since he was a schoolboy
i know him we live in a small hamlet
but since long, in this place of eternal sadness
where we grew up he knew there’s a world
way, way beyond the overly familiar nothingness
so he left with dreams and i stayed with others
he was here the other day after a lifetime
i was doing things but which were unimportant
he said he was watching a volleyball match
all insignificant, his stuff was, or so it seemed
just as mine that was unimportant to tell about

but he had a point
he said he had a point
and he wanted to make a point
and it was not about some pretentious game
and he asked why gunmen would play pretentious game
and why would they
some say it’s an indian thing

- concluded

(inspired by the samaritan works based on humanity carried out by the military establishment and was originally written in march 2017)
