Koramangala Types

All the original photos are taken from three lanes next to Jyoti Nivas College in Koramangala 5th Block. This series, with 99 wordmarks, has been created with an objective to help analyse visual identity design, find inspiration in typography and create type moodboards.

The collages are handpicked from 122 images that I captured on Easter evening (09042023), after getting some extra energy from a plate of mutton haleem and Kfc (Koramangala fried camel!) This was also during the Iftar in Koramangala 5th Block in April 2023.

PS: I'm aware how Kannadigas hold their language dear, and it is semi-official for businesses to have their names in both English and Kannada. Albeit I have cropped some names in Kannada from the shots to have a more uniform dimension and a bit of visual consistency.
