The Celebration of a Band of Thinking Men

And one thinking man arrived at the hell’s entry,
He had been knocking down the slave miserably
Chronic oppression, lifelong subjugation
It was going on for months and years—no interruption
And now the slave is in jail for killing the thinking man
On ten years day one, it was done
The thinking man was put to rest
On ten years day two, the killer was jailed with no evidence
The thinking man’s unknown assets were a witness
—And the justice and order a band of other thinking men saw
And they celebrated the triumph of the rule of law.
